On August 23, 2023, an experimental Cassutt aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from South Valley Regional Airport in West Jordan, Utah during a test flight. After liftoff, the airplane entered a climb and then an abrupt right turn at low altitude before rapidly losing control and descending into terrain.
