The saphenous nerve is a branch of the femoral nerve and passes through the adductor canal on its way to the lower leg. Compression of the nerve usually occurs in that canal. NKT often finds the sartorius overworking and the psoas underworking as well as the adductor longus overworking and the psoas underworking.
